Lima, October 31, 2025. The Program Committee of the World Mining Congress (WMC) 2026 is pleased to announce its International Call for Posters — an important opportunity for researchers, professionals, and academics from around the world to present their projects, studies, and innovations in mining, in line with the Congress theme: “Mining for the Future: Trust, Technology & Transformation.”
Through T3 — Trust, Transformation and Technology, the WMC 2026 invites the global mining community to join us in shaping an industry that delivers more, faster, and better for people and the planet.
A poster offers you the opportunity to personally engage with participants interested in your research, innovations, and ideas—connecting across disciplines and sparking collaboration. All accepted posters will be published in the official Congress Proceedings, alongside the technical papers.
Topics of Interest
Posters should focus on one or more of the following themes:
- Mining Science & Innovation
- AI & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Process Innovation, Circularity & Recovery
- Environmental Stewardship & Nature-Positive Solutions
- Critical Minerals, Strategic Materials & Mineral Policy
- Smart Operations & Systems Integration
Aligned with Mining for the Future, priority will be given to contributions that:
- Drastically increase efficiency and value from existing resources, and
- Accelerate project delivery to meet the world’s urgent demand for critical minerals responsibly.
The poster submission process will remain open until November 30, 2025. Selected participants will be notified by January 15, 2026, and the final poster materials must be submitted by March 31, 2026.
